Why We Love Chiropractic Care

Our bodies endure a lot mentally and physically, leading to occasional aches and pains. Pain often appears last, indicating dysfunction starts long before we feel it. Dr. Megan is skilled to identify these issues and adjust your body to alleviate symptoms and improve function. The brain controls every system in our body. Stress on the nervous system can impair its ability to manage the body, causing pain, tension, poor decision-making, lack of sleep, distractions, and anxiety. Regular adjustments reduce pain and lower stress responses, enhancing brain control over body functions.

Dr. Megan examines the entire body, not just areas of complaint, to optimize overall function. Some conditions that chiropractic can help with: neck, mid back and low back pain, headaches, tension and stiffness, radiating and discogenic pain, vertigo, decreased mobility, better sleep, improved digestion.

In children it can help with: torticollis, colic, attention and mood, sleep, digestion, flat spots in the skull, overall function and supporting growth and development.

Dry Needling

The use of solid needles that don’t contain medication with the goal of decreasing pain and tension and improving blood flow to promote healing. Unlike acupuncture, which focuses on meridian points, dry needling is focused on sensitized nerve endings and trigger points, or knots in the muscles. Many of these points align with meridian points, but dry needling tends to penetrate deeper into soft tissue than acupuncture.

May notice improvements in pain, range of motion, function, tension, sleep and stress.

Can be done in most areas of the body including neck, low back, and extremities.

Some conditions that it helps with: neck and back pain, joint pain in the extremities, tennis elbow, golfers elbow, sprain, strain.
